Once again this year we will be located at the Springbank Park For All Seasons. We’re very excited about our new layout of this location –there will be slightly larger lots for vendors, better access to load and unload and the anticipated crowd of 7000 visitors will flow much more efficiently.
The Parade of Vendors space will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis upon receipt of an approved application (attached) .The application deadline is July 15, 2011. Approved applicants will receive a receipt, parking pass, wrist bands, and additional information regarding the Calgary Highland Games 2011. There is a map of the Vendors area attached with numbers. The majority of the vendors will be located on the sidewalk side of the main roadway accessing the games. These sections will be divided into roughly 10 foot sections separated by 4 feet between each vendor. You will have front facing exposure only along the roadway. There will also be a small Vendors Village located by the heavy sports. These spots will have exposure to all 4 sides if you choose. If you have any questions regarding these spots please feel free to contact me at a.dempster@ssss.com.
In the past, we received some complaints about products containing alcohol being available for purchase. These products are not acceptable at the Calgary Highland Games as they violate our liquor permit.
Vendors’ Responsibilities
A. Vendors shall coordinate with the event sponsor rules for loading in and loading out of the event.
B. Fire lanes shall be kept clear at all times after the allotted time given.

Some fabrics may be treated with “after-market” solutions. Check the yellow pages for Fire/Safety retailers who may carry products for treating tent fabrics to comply with the above-mentioned standards.
Vendors are asked to begin set up on Friday afternoon between 12:00 Noon and 6:00 PM or alternately, Saturday morning between 6:30 AM and 7:30 AM is also available for set-up.
