Scottish Highlanders Kicking Hunger Match has changed location and date!

For 2014, we have moved our Scottish football (soccer) matches to Springbank Park for All Seasons. The first match will being on at 9:30 on Saturday August 30th, at the soccer field across the road from our Games location. Although there is no fee to watch these matches, we do ask that you bring non-perishable items for our donation to the Calgary Inter-Faith Food Bank. Should you bring a grocery bag full, we will give you a ticket to receive the online ticket pricing at the Gates.

We’ve added a new twist to our Tug O War competition!

Caledonian Exteriors is sponsoring our competition this year. They will give $5,000 to your teams charity of choice. Not only will your teams name be on our trophy, but you will earn bragging rights, a medal for each member and money for your favourite charity! Looking for some traditional British fare at the Games? Come to our grill just beside the Festival Tent and enjoy a haggis slider, bacon butty, square (also known as Lorne) sausage on a bun or a Scotch pie. You may pay at the Gates when you arrive on Saturday. Please note that Gates 2 and 4 you may pay with a credit card if you wish. We have ATM’s on the grounds for all you cash needs as well.
